Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Work with Management team to develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, and prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Coordinate with sales team to develop monthly and annual sales forecasts.
Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
Coordinate financial and banking audits with outside auditors.
Manage the payroll function utilizing third-party payroll service and ensure accuracy of payments and withholdings
Assist outside accountants with preparation of federal and state tax returns
Prepare local jurisdiction tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
Advise management about issues such as resource utilization and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Manage accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
5+ years of extensive experience with accounting, financial reporting
