Dr. Jeffery Arle is an internationally recognized expert in both complex spine and functional neurosurgery. He currently holds an Associate Professorship in Neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School and is the Associate Chief of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and the Chief of Neurosurgery at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.

Dr. Arle is on the editorial board of two prominent journals, Neurosurgery and Neuromodulation, and frequently reviews articles for several other journals. He is currently the Co-chair of the Research and Scientific Policy Committee of the International Neuromodulation Society as well as on the Executive Board for the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology. He has been involved in research on cervical interbody fusions and pedicle screw stimulation, as well as publishing over 60 peer-reviewed articles, 23 textbook chapters, edited 2 textbooks, and given over 75 national and international talks. His research interests and efforts are focused primarily on computational modeling of neural stimulation therapies and mechanisms.
Dr. Arle will join three other leading surgeons on the Scientific Advisory Board, including Adam Lewis MD, President of Jason Neurosurgery Clinic and former Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery at UMMC, Frank Fichtel, MD, Attending Neurosurgeon at SW Methodist Hospital, and Thomas Wilson, MD, Neurosurgeon at St. Vincent’s Birmingham Hospital.
