David Attia, M.D.

Dr. Attia is a spine surgeon who has specialized in the treatment of spine pathology at the Clinique Kennedy in Montelimar, France, since 1996. Dr. Attia attended Faculté de Medecine de Marseille, France, completing his M.D. (Medecine-Surgery) in 1986. As co-inventor of the VariLift Sytem, he has demonstrated the effectiveness of the device through 15 years of experience with clinical results published in journals, conferences, and lectures.

Thomas A. Kingman, M.D.

Dr. Kingman is a board certified neurosurgeon at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where he has practiced since 1986. He attended Southern Methodist University and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, receiving an M.D. in 1980 and completing his internship and residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Kingman completed his residency in neurosurgery in 1986. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 1990. Dr. Kingman is working with Wenzel Spine to further develop minimally invasive techniques and instrumentation for the VariLift System.

Frank M. Fichtel, M.D.

Dr. Fichtel is a board certified neurosurgeon, in the private practice of adult neurosurgery at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, since 1999. He attended Baylor University and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, receiving his M.D. in 1993 and completing his internship and residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas, Texas, in 1999. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2002.
